English language Challenges

Hello my dear friend!

I will today talk about the english language challenges and this will be the last post because this is my last level of english in the university  and this be the last post for the class. To go I should said that my experiencie with the english in the university has been very profitable, I have learned very much  about vocabulary, gramatic and pronunciation. I think that the english is a subject very until for the world of knowledge of today because largely of the ideas, studies, and book come from “anglosajon” contries. Well other view relevant for me about this lenguage is that largely of the music that I listen is in this lenguage and learned about this lenguage permit me understand that the say, in this sense the english for me not is unsavory for learned also that my girlfriend studies this and we plan in the near future to visit a country w here they speak this language so that learned english for me is very until and entertaining.

Well on the other hand i should recognize that I dont have many skills for this english overcoat regard to listening and pronunciation, for me it very difficult this scopes of english so that I need very much practice for to learn, my plan for do this is listening more music in english carefully, too see the movies with subtitules and speak with my girlfriend, I think that the summer days I could do this because I will have more free time. Finally I think that in a few year I will take with my sister a course of english because If well I need many practices I like visit a countris “anglosajon” for to go to study some post graduate in psychology.

The job that I would like to have

Discrimination

Hello everybody! in the day of today I will write about the discrimination, a  topic very interesting for me because is a human phenomenon that is very present in the themes of the contingency and therefore is a topic that the social sciencie to treaty. 

Well, specifically to order of this post is wonder about ¿What do we need to stop discrimination? Why do people discriminate? And ¿How do we discriminate and how we can change it?

To begin I found two definitions of discrimination to the oxford :

1) The unjust or prejudicial treatment of different categories of people or things, especially on the grounds of race, age, or sex.

2)The ability to distinguish between different stimuli.

In relation this post the first definition is more relevant but however the second definition  too I permit me generate to opinion, well I think that in we live to discrimination is a phenom very present and we do at all times, If we understand discrimination how ability to distinguish continually we are doing. This is a behavior that allows us to adapt to circumstances, for example for to form friendship we choose only some and let other side in this sense we discriminate and prefer some over others or imagine this problem: you have two apple and you can give this to two people different that not know maybe you evalues for who has more face hunger I think that to evaluate already discriminating. In this sense always we to discriminate but however this topic becomes to making a problem when the differentiation harm an individual or group, when we treat others for our race, sex, orientation sexual and we ridicule, denigrate or we make a judgment just by appearance, race, creed.  I think that this occurs fundamentally because we like human through evolutionary history discriminate needed to adapt. For another point and more relation to first definition I think that we should wonder when do not discriminate that's what we do? Maybe at that point is the answer to generate less discrimination.

My future Job

Hello everybody! Today I will write about my future job.

First I should said that I not yet decide definitely for the field to which I will dedicate in the future, however I've thought choose beetwen three field, these are: clinical psychology, organizational psychology and educational psychology, but for purposes of this entry I decide for clinical psychology.

In relation to major for the nonce I'm torn between two, these are: adult clinical psychology and quantitative methodology, I`ve think in these two choice because on the one hand I want have to experiencie of the meet patient, I’d love to achieve understanding individuals and their psychological problems to help them solve, problematized and generate greater welfare in their lives, moreover I think take quantitative methodology because this I help my to investigate the problems to mode eficient and useful, I think that this methodology is useful like tool for to investigate and this permit me for example; applying therapies, assess what type of intervention is more effective in other. When I think that kind of job I would like have I imagine in a box of psychology consultation and in a laboratory or other space to investigate. I will like these two kind of job because I think that a work ideal incorporates as a experiencia as theory.

The aspects that I would consider for choosing my future job are: A good work atmosphere because If I attend a particular way I have to liberty for determine my horary, and too a salary that permit me continue studies and perfecting in this field.

Finally If I was asked a interview for a job about my strengths and weaknesse, that I will said that my strengths are to be a flexible person, easily adapting to circumstances, open to new experiences involving greater learning and in relation to my weaknesse I would said that a person very thoughtful and sometimes it paralyzes me make decisions.

A foreign Country

How green are you?

Hi everybody! Today I will write about what so green I am. Well I think that the people learn about environmentally friendly practices fundamentally with their closer circle; in their home, with their friend and ultimately on internet or TV, in this sense the culture in which we live is very important to incorporate green practices.

Personally I do not have green habits; if I go walking on street and see scattered garbage on the floor I pick it up and throw it in a bin, if I dirty something I clean it. If there is a light on or the faucet is open at home I turn it off. However, I think that is not enough to say I have green habits.

Here in home, for example, who cares more the house cleaning is my older sister so she habitually revises if everything is working okay. All the same, nobody goes to recycling places. Habits that we have are more resource care of the house (because bills would come out very high) but not beyond this. I do not use bicycle, but I would like begin to use it like a conveyance later. At present, I do not use it because I just do not have one. To live in a commune with a lot of car traffic my parents think it could be dangerous, maybe I will might take that kind of decisions when I live independently. One of the things I would like to adopt it'd be to have a solar panel because I think that is a good way to get energy.



Finally, according to eco organizations I think those are a good instance in order that the followers of these organizations can encourage to who think similar, however I think these only convince to who already are, so making a good public policy with these ideas could be impregnated little by little in practices of Chileans.That was all for today. Iceland

Hi everbody! today I will write about of country that I will like visit. Well Before of write I want to said that i have various country that I will like visit but I choose this for a reason that I will count in a later moment.

  

The country that I will like visit is Island. This is located in the northwest of Europe their weather is subpolar oceanic, its population is of 300.000 mostly concentrated in the capital called Reykjavik. Is a country recognized by for being the first country where women have voted, this country  was named in 2007 as the country with the highest quality of life.

I will like visit this country because I like very much everything that has to do with nature and this country is full of beautiful landscapes; like is The black coast of Vik, lake Jokulsarlon , waterfall  Svartifoss or as the geyser called Strokkur  Other reason for visit this countries is that in this on night of  winter viewing a phenomenon known as the “Aurora Boreali” .

 I think that this country is a perfect place for visit and too a place attractive for live especially I like their landscapes this cause in me a sense of calm and tranquility. 

My last semester

Hello! I will talk today about my last semester.  Well in my last semester I take six class, the five class curriculum of psychology more the class of english. Now I numbered three positive and three negative things about this.

The three positive thing of last semester were:

1) In this semester I learning more about different practice of my career.
 2) I had four clases about different field of psychology.

3) Was a semester more relaxing of the career.

The three negative thing of last semester were:

1) I had class that matter will pass very quickly.
2) With the mobilitation we lost class and this difficult the continuity of this.

3) I think that wanting more discussion about the future profesional because this semester was the final with class general. For example would have been good that the profesional of each field had give us a lesson on what is currently being done in their profesional live.

In general the last semester permit me generate a glimse panoramic of the field applied of psychology and If well I don`t know by sure that area I will dedicate this semester permit me discard about the field that I don`t dedicate in a future In other sense was a semester that give me basis for one future choice!

My favorite Class

Hello! I will talk today about my favorite class. My favorite class is epistemology.  I had this class in second semester of first years of University when I thousand that my career was a field more united with only one perspective to think the problems.
 With this field I learned that was not so, with this field I learned that had numerous perspective for think since of psychology and many of these mutually exclusionary.
When I realized of this reality I feel quickly a sence of frustation I wondered how one field could have many forms of understand the problems that with which it has to deal. Over time this class became my favorite because this helped me understand even more my career viewing their problems, their different visions for treating and different notions to understand not only the problem of psychology but to understand how humans think and knows the world. In turn this bouquet challenged me and allowed me to think about the kind of psychology that I wanted to do.
The importance in my studies basically is that this helped think and understand that exit various form to treat the issues in psychology as also challenges the student to decide which approach to take.
I think the epistemology in my professional life is very relevant because this will generate both knowledge of the diversity of perspectives and also to generate more comprehensive dialogue when interacting with another pair.

New " Laughter on the brain: the sciencia behind our sniggers"

Hello, I will talk today about a piece new that I found in the newpapers The Guardian, this is called " Laughter on the brain: the sciencia behind our sniggers" and was written on Tuesday 3 July of 2012 . I choose this new because this refers to a field of psychology that I think that is very interest.

The new related that:
The laugther is a social activity and the according to the neurocientific Robert Provine emitted more in context with peoples also when we like people and  "if we want them to like us". Victor Borge meanwhile say that the laughter serves to maintain close circles and for to remove the barriers between the ties. Furthermore, this expression does not emit only human but also in mammals such as rats or gorillas.
Neuroscientists together with comedians in "Summer Science Exhibition" for to explore the difference between laughs genuine and laughs voluntary  measured using fMRI activation of laughter and genuine laughter voluntary. The results indicate that there is greater activation in " brain areas associated with "mentalising" to suggesting that genuine laughter allow us to communicate more clearly what the other person communicates is why in certain contexts there is laughter that seem out of place.

My second movie favorite

Well I last semester I wrote about my favorite Movie. Today I would talk about my second favorite Movie that in really is a movie that I watched reclently and I like very much. The Movie called "Martian Child" and their director is Menno Meyjes recognized to make the script of the movie "The Color Purple".  Martian Child is a dramatic movie that was premiere in the EEUU in the year 2007 and relate the live of David Gordon a men widower and writer that later of the dead of their wife He decide to rethink their live and think to adopt a child.

So far so good but when David Gordon decided to go adopt a child appear a boy that want to know to him. These child is Dennis a young that said that went to Mars planet and that have behavior eccentric like put on in the wrist and ankle dumbbell because according to he in this planet he can fly for the sky and He don`t like this! Well the movie related the conflict to have David Gordon for understand this child like too the conflict with their supervisor . These movie is interesting for me and I think that achieve to tackle the loneliness that feel a child abandoned giving to know their inside world.

My Best Holiday

Hello! Today I will write about my best holiday  If well I remember experience the several entertaining I will writen about holiday of last summer.  This holiday occur on the beach called "Consistorial “ When I received the invitation of my uncles called Paul and Maria I was happy because besides I see my cousin!

Well the story was more and less like this. I woke in the afternoon  to eat later I read the newspapers  that buy all day. The afternoon was very relaxating sometimes we to go down in the sea and other day I stayed sleep in the home. In the evening with my cousin went to the square to play ping pong . The night was very fabulous and specifically for this reason that this holiday  to change in the better . During the night with my cousin went to the beach to find with friends that we had met there. There were nights the conversation, alcohol and distortion! I still remember when in one nigth the full distortion with more people went to sea for the swim! This experiencie was very liberating I enjoyed very much and hope that this repeat!
